Meet the Fervorm PureSlate™ — a single piece of 304 stainless steel, built for cleaner, more confident food prep.

Wood absorbs moisture and odor into its grain, and needs regular oiling to keep from cracking or warping. Plastic wears in microscopic knife grooves over time — grooves that trap bacteria and, as recent research has found, gradually shed into whatever's being cut on them.

PureSlate™ replaces both with one continuous, non-porous steel surface: nothing to absorb, nothing for a blade to wear away. Use it to chop vegetables, prep meat and fish, slice, knead bread, or roll pastry — all on one surface built for everyday use, not just careful use.

Nothing Soaks Into the Surface

Food prep leaves behind juices, stains, and strong smells — especially with meat, fish, garlic, or onions.

PureSlate™'s non-porous stainless steel doesn't give any of that somewhere to go. There's no wood grain to soak into, and no plastic surface to wear in the microscopic grooves that peer-reviewed research (Environmental Science & Technology, 2023) has linked to plastic particles shedding into food during normal cutting.

It's also the surface type USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service specifically recommends for raw meat and poultry — nonporous, so there's nothing for bacteria to hide in that a normal wash won't reach.

There's no need to oil, condition, or soak the board. Wash it with warm water and dish soap, or place it in the dishwasher when the selected size fits comfortably inside.
